Topshop’s Cool Spring Lookbook

Photos have sneaked out of Topshop’s new spring / summer 2012 collections. They’re not in shops for a month or two, but I love the mix of vintage styling and a cool modern colour pallette. If I’m not mistaken there’s a real touch of Amy Winehouse to this collection – winged eyeliner and messy beehives mixed with retro and attitude. I can’t wait for this collection to land in the shops!

Pink & Pretty at Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton couldn’t have moved further away from their traditional brown and gold with this pretty, pastel pink ad campaign.

This is what artistic director Marc Jacobs had to say about it:

The spirit of our spring/summer 2012 collection is reflected beautifully in this new ad campaign…All the tone and texture of the collection – the lightness, the prettiness, the broderie anglaise, the mille-feuille layers of organza – are recreated in these wonderful images by Steven Meisel. It is all very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic.
